Need 24 blocks

Yardages:
EACH of two fabrics-------3 1/2 yds
First border--------------------3/8 yd
Second border---------------5/8 yd

NOTE:  For larger project sizes,
            EACH of two fabrics.
     Twin----------------------------7 1/2 yds
     Double------------------------11 yds
     Queen-------------------------11 yds
     King----------------------------13 3/4 yds
     Lap------------------------------6 1/8 yds
     Wall Hanging--------------- 2 1/2 yd

Cutting: (See pattern, 9" block)
     Centers---------------dark fabric.
     Strips------------------2 each dark and light per row.
     First border---------------Cut 2" wide..

Stitching:  (See pattern for general instructions.)
     Add the strips in the following order, turning the
     muslin base counterclockwise.
  Row 1: 1 dark--1 light--1 dark--1 light
  Row 2: 1 light--1 dark--1 light--1 dark
     Repeat these two rows untill finished.  Add corners.
     Arrange blocks as shown.
