Muslin (blocks & borders)----------1/2 yd

Light side-------------------------------3/8 yd
Dark Side-------------------------------3/8 yd
Border------------------------------------1/4 yd
Backing----------------------------------5/8 yd
CUTTING
(See pattern---7 1/2" block)
Corners-----------------------cut 32 squares---2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
Border-------------------------cut 2 1/2"wide
Adding Triangles
1. Fold 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" squares in half to form triangles. Press,
being carful not to stretch the bias fold
2. Pin on desired corners as each row is completed. These are
added to the corners that have a fabric change.
3. Proceed with the next row. The triangles will automatically be
sewn in place.
HINTS: To figure yardages for 2 3/4" squares:
One 40" long strip yields 14 squares.
1/2 yard yields 84 squares.
