This site misses our criteria by a mile, but full of content.  If new to quilting, a worthwhile read.

This is another site that misses our criteria, however,  although very commercial the tools needed by the quilter are all there.

At this point we have only one site which meets our criteria and two that do not.  This category seems to be a very difficult one to find
non- commercial sites which seek to teach rather than to sell.  Will keep looking.
